Replacing the batteries
Batteries should be replaced (fig. 60)
by your specialist workshop only be-
cause it is aware of the associated risks.
Batteries can explode if they come into
contact with sparks, e.g. due to a short
circuit of the battery terminals.
– Switch off the wheelchair. – Do this
by pressing the ON/OFF key on the
operating module. The battery con-
trol display goes off.
Removing the batteries:
– Disconnect the battery plug (fig.
61/

– Lift the battery bracket with the
battery at the backside (fig. 62/

),
towards the back (fig. 62/
➃
) and
then up (fig. 62/
➄
) and out of the
guide rail.
– Open the Velcro fastener (fig. 63)
of the strap.
