DRIVING
Drive especially carefully during your
first journey!
Bearing this in mind, set the pre-se-
lectable final speed to the lowest set-
ting.
!
Attention:
Children may not use the
wheelchair without supervision or
without an attendant.
•
Do not touch the I/O button while
driving. – Pressing the key will then
switch off the electric wheelchair
and cause it to stop immediately.
•
Observe the brochure <
Safety in-
formation electronic wheelchairs
>
and the operating manual <
Ope-
rating module
>!
You can determine speed and driving
direction by yourself while driving
through the movements of the joystick
(fig. 3/
➀
) as well as the maximum
speed set for you wheelchair.
☞
Note:
☞
The key-function secures the
wheelchair against unauthorised
use. Observe the operating manu-
al <
operating module
>.
3
☞
Speeds up to a maximum of 6 km/
h can be achieved.
☞
The drive limits the maximum
speed depending on the joystick
position during downhill travel.
☞
Inclinations up to 15 % (about 8°)
can be overcome with the drive.
☞
When reversing with the joystick
leaning to the left, your wheelchair
makes a right turn.
☞
If drive mode is switched off (bra-
ke release lever in the
push
positi-
on) the wheelchair cannot be ope-
rated and braked via the joystick!
In this event, use the brake release
lever (shift to the
drive
position). –
Danger of accidents!
