8.3 Engaging the safety clutch
Procedure
Note: The following points only need to be noted if a hardware limit switch was engaged.
Reasons causing the safety clutch to disengage may be:

Collision between workpiece and tool
■
Running into the mechanical end stop after failure of software limit switch
and safety limit switch.
1 Move the X1 axis manually by the toothed belt until the clutch engages.

Drive mode toothed belt
Drive module A 641
2 Acknowledge the fault message from the drive.
3 Change to the Alarm screen.
4 Acknowledge the fault.
5 Switch the machine off and then back on.
6 Reference the machine.
7 Change to the Crystal infeed screen.
8 Press this button and the corresponding slide moves away
from the hardware limit switch.
9 Reference the machine.
