13.1.3 Preservation
The following tasks must be carried out prior to conservation:
■
The slurry tank must be cleaned
■
The pumps must be flushed out with a suitable anti-corrosive agent
■
The water pipes must be drained
■
The guideways and spindles are to be well greased and oiled
■
Slacken the main drive’s V-belt
13.1.4 Fitting transport fixtures
When a machine is put out of service, the transport fixtures must be attached.
13.1.5 Packing
The packing must protect the machine against external influences (humidity, heat,
hail, etc.).
13.2 Storage conditions
13.2.1 Space required
For details of dimensions and weights please see chapter ”4.2” on side 27.
13.2.2 Danger note
If a machine is to be stored or taken out of service for an extended period of time, it is
to be taken properly out of service and the following steps taken:
■
the slurry supply is to be disconnected from the machine and disposed of properly
■
sliding and side doors must be closed and locked
■
all keys are to be removed from the machine.
NOTICE
Damage to the machine!
Attach the transport fixture before the machine
is disconnected from the mains.
