9.5.4 Brake
Note: The integrated brake is a safety brake, i.e. the contact pressure is applied
with spring pressure and relieved with compressed air.
Interval Annually or if an appropriate message appears on screen.
Work Check the brake and adjust it if necessary.

Note: The brake lining Fig. 9-5/5 must be at least 3 mm thick.
Procedure
1 Take load off the brake (switch on the compressed air).
2 Undo the nut Fig. 9-5 /2.
3 Turn the screw Fig. 9-5 /3 anti-clockwise until contact with the bolt Fig. 9-5 /4
is established.
4 Turn the screw Fig. 9-5 /3 back ½ turn clockwise.
5 Tighten the nut Fig. 9-5 /2.
9.5.4.1 Adjusting the brake switch
Procedure
1 Undo the contact disk Fig. 9-5 /1.
2 Set the clearance (2.5 mm) between contact disk Fig. 9-5 /1 and nut Fig. 9-5 /2
(with feeler gauge) by turning the contact disk.
3 Slide the switch Fig. 9-5 /6 from the top down until the switching point has been reached.
