5 Installing the peristaltic pump

Install pump tubings.

Connect aspirating capillaries for the regeneration solution and
the rinsing solution.

6 Installing the MSM-HC

￭

Connect the MSM-HC capillary labeled with

H2SO4

to the outlet

of the pump tubing for the regeneration solution.

￭

Connect the MSM-HC capillary labeled with

H2O

to the outlet of

the pump tubing for the rinsing solution.

￭

Guide the two MSM-HC capillaries labeled with

Waste

through an

instrument's capillary feed-through to the waste container and fix
them there.

Rinse the instrument without column(s).

lary and the MSM-HC capillary labeled with

Eluent

Install the guard column (if used)

Install the separation column

10 Conditioning the instrument
