The domestic hot water heat pump must only be installed by trained personel and in accordance
with the local building codes.
5.1 Location
The METROAIR AQUA HPM must only be installed in a frost-free room. The installation location
should comply with the following criteria:
• Room temperature between 5°C and +35°C.
• Drain possibility for condensate drain.
• No abnormal dust concentration in the air.
• A levelled solid shelf or wall brackets cabable of a load of approx. 50 kg.
• It is necessary to ensure that ther is sufficient space around the unit for maintenance and
service.
5.2 Set-up sequence
1. Remove the top packaging.
2. Removed the compressor transportation fixtures (2 pieces, shown by arrows)
3. Lift the METROAIR AQUA HPM from the cardboard base and place it on its final destination,
e.g., a shelf or disignated wall brackets.
4. Ensure that the METROAIR AQUA HPM is levelled with a max. deviation of +/- 1 deg.
5. The unit can be fixed by screws at the designated areas below the unit (see figure) with a
max. penetration length of 40 mm.
