6.4 CALIBRATE RAPID BLADE ADJUSTMENT DIAL.
Set the blade gap to 0.2mm (Fig. 1) and then measure blade gap with feeler gauge. If incorrect
re-adjust blade gap to measure 0.2mm with feeler gauge (Fig. 2) and then re-calibrate the gradu-
ated dial ring to read 0.2mm. Repeat both ends.
(Graduated Dial ring has a locking screw/nut that must be loosened. Set the blade gap at 0.2mm
and then measure the blade gap with a feeler gauge. If incorrect re-adjust blade gap to measure
0.2mm with feeler gauge and then re-calibrate the graduated dial ring to read 0.2mm. Repeat
both ends.

6.5 CHECK MINIMUM BLADE GAP SAFETY SETTING

The factory gap setting is 0.1mm minimum
Adjust the Rapid blade adjustment to 0 (Fig. 3) and use a feeler gauge to measure the blade gap.
If needed adjust front blade dead stop (Fig. 4) till gap measures 0.1mm. The blade gap on this
machine must not be able to go smaller than 0.1mm.
Repeat the process at both ends
