8.2. Trouble shooting the engine
If the fault cases listed below have been processed, but the error still persists,
please contact your authorized workshop.
FAULT CAUSE SOLUTION
Engine will not start or starts
badly Starting limit temperature under-
cut Actuate the choke
Wrong grade of engine oil Change oil according to specification
Fuel quality is insufficient Use fuel according to specification
Cable connections loose or cor-
roded Check cable connections
False valve clearance Check and adjust if necessary
Engine starts, but runs irregularly
