6. MAINTENANCE OF YOUR POWER GENERATOR
Inspection intervals may vary from case to case, depending on the importance of the equipment as
well as environmental and operational conditions. As a general rule, a first inspection is recommend-
ed after approximately 500 hours of operation (at the latest, however, after one year), then at least at
the same time as main motor maintenance. During inspections, it will be checked whether:
• The generator is running without abnormal noises or vibrations, which could lead to bearing
damage.
• Operating data are correct.
• Air intake is not blocked.
• The connection cables show no signs of wear.
• Electrical connections are securely fastened.
• Nuts on mounting bolts are properly tightened.
6.1. Motor maintenance
Align yourself with the maintenance of the drive motor according to the maintenance schedule in the
engine owner’s manual or ask your dealer to perform the necessary work.

• Fill and handle fuel only when the engine is shut down!
• Never refuel in the vicinity of open flames, sparks or other ignition sources.
• Do not smoke!
• Do not spill the fuel! Wipe up any spillage immediately!
• Ensure ventilation!
• Use protective gloves
Initiate immediate life-saving measures and notify the emergency services

• Let the engine cool off.
• Use protective gloves.
Cool off injured area
Provide first aid according to the guide / or notify paramedics.
NOTICE
Dispose of used engine oil environmentally friendly. Do not put old oil into the trash or into the
sewage system, a drain or pour on the ground.
We recommend putting used oil in a sealed container and delivering to a recycling centre or a
service centre for recycling.
