Operating the machine

Mow grass and other papilionaceous plants for silage and wrapping 

at their initial stages of earing (afternoon mowing is optimum). Leave 

until the next day and a few hours more to dry a little, then collect with 

the baler. Set the bale compaction to maximum.

3.7.   MANUAL SWATH REMOVAL / JAM CLEARING

Do not attempt to clear jams when the machine is 

running.

WARNING!

Before attempting to clear a jam:

• 

Turn off the control panel.

• 

Stop the tractor, remove the ignition key and wait until all machine 

parts stop completely.

1. Remove the swath press to clear the material in the machine front.

2. Lift the rear chamber.

3. Lock the lift cylinders with the safety pins.

4. Clear the material from the baling chamber.
