Please note:
Remember the
spring position –
it will have to be
placed in the
exact same
position when
inserting the
new
Visualization
LED housing.
Remove the spiral cable wrap
Release the screw and remove the old Visualization LED housing
Place the new Visualization LED housing on the same platform and refasten the screw
Plug-in the connector of the LED to J1 on the Motherboard and replace the cable ties
Re-wrap spiral wrap band
Stage 3: Replace the Focus knob
See section #13 in this manual for detailed instructions
Stage 4: Close the SQA-V
Re-connect the optical assembly to the front panel. Make sure to screw back all 4
screws
Close the back of the unit and fasten the 4 screws on the rear panel using a #2 Philips
screwdriver
Additional Components: New, improved Slide Adaptor
One of the components of the improved visualization system, as mentioned above, is a newly
improved slide adaptor. This new slide adaptor holds the slide firmly and allows movement
back and forth from one field of view to the next smoothly, without losing focus.
