• To get round this, add a litre of water to the wash compartment at the end
of the cycle. This will make the timer read the pressure switch contacts
closed impulse and switch off the indicator light.
High pressure sensor
This is a new and important element in the SW management of seriously
soiled dishes. This switch is mounted on the lower water inlet coupling,
which in normal operating conditions reads 0.26bars.
The sensor consists of a microswitch connected to a membrane that is
activated on contact with water.
When the pressure in the dishwater goes below the level required to wash
dishes sufficiently (below 0.15 bars), as a result perhaps of clogged filters, the
membrane disables the microswitch which then sends a signal to the timer.
The SW triggers the jog-type
“filter cleaning”
cycle (programme A or B
depending on the programme set - see relative table) to rinse the dirt from the
filters and enable the main cycle to proceed without the dishwasher
registering an alarm.
