Replacing the Pump Head
Peristaltic pump heads have been tested to undergo
approximately 10,000 openings. The life expectancy of
a pump head depends on use and handling conditions.
Replace the pump head when it wears out.
The following conditions indicate that the pump head
may be wearing out:
• The pump does not prime easily
• Dispensing takes a long time
• Trial if new tubing is unsuccessful
• There is a gap between the cover
and the body of the pump
