Reduce the load on the brake system:

Drive with even greater care.

Use engine braking on downhill gradients.
Select a lower gear for this purpose.

Continue driving carefully to allow the airflow
to cool the brakes.

Brake immediately
A malfunction has occurred with SBC Hold
activated.
The horn may also sound at regular inter-
vals. The horn becomes louder if you
attempt to lock the vehicle.
The engine cannot be started.

Immediately depress the brake pedal firmly
until the display message disappears.
