Operating the light combination switch

Main beam

Turn signal light, right

Headlamp flashing

Turn signal light, left

Pull or push the combination switch in the

relevant direction following the arrow.

Switching on the main beam manually

Vehicles with Adaptive Highbeam Assist

Plus: Turn the light switch to the

posi‐

tion.

Press the combination switch beyond the

pressure point in the direction of

arrow

When the main beam is activated, the indicator

lamp for dipped beam is deactivated and

replaced by the indicator lamp for the main

beam.

To switch off the main beam: move the

combination switch back to its starting posi‐

tion.

To indicate briefly: press the combination

switch briefly up to the pressure point in the

direction of arrow

The corresponding turn signal light flashes

three times.

To indicate for a duration: press the combi‐

nation switch beyond the pressure point in

the direction of arrow

Activating/deactivating the hazard warning

light

Press button

The hazard warning light switches on automati‐

cally if:

The airbag has been deployed.

The vehicle brakes sharply from a speed of

more than 70 km/h to a standstill.
