Program 3 – WHOLE WHEAT
Select program 3 – WHOLE WHEAT in the menu and select the bread size and crust.

Program 4 – QUICK, GINGERBREAD CAKE
Ingredients
Butter, cut into small pieces

Golden syrup
110 g
Treacle
45 g
White muscovado
110 g
Milk

Egg, medium size

Wheat flour
260 g
Ground ginger
1½ tsp
Baking powder
1½ tsp
Bicarbonate
¾ tsp
Walnuts, chopped

Put the butter, golden syrup, treacle and sugar in a small pan. Warm carefully on low heat
until it has all melted.

Pour the mix into the baking pan and add the milk and egg.

Sift the flour, ginger, baking powder and bicarbonate together. Pour the flour mixture into
the baking pan. Put the walnuts on top.
4.
Close the lid, press the menu button and select program 4 – QUICK and LIGHT crust. Press the
power switch to start the machine.
5.
Allow the program to run for a few minutes. Open the lid and use a spatula round the edges
to check that the mixture is mixing well. Close the lid.
