Put all the ingredients for the jam or marmalade in the baking pan.

Close the lid, press the menu button and select program 9 – JAM. Press the power switch to
start the machine.

Allow the program to run to the end and then leave the jam or marmalade in the pan for 10
minutes. Lift out the baking pan with oven gloves and carefully pour the jam into a sterilised
glass jar. Seal and mark with a suitable label.
Program 10 – CAKE
CHOCOLATE CAKE WITH ALMONDS

White muscovado

Treacle

Baking powder
¼ tsp
Cocoa powder

CHOCOLATE BUTTER CREAM FOR THE FILLING

Grease the baking pan with a little oil. Add the rest of the oil, milk, sugar, syrup and egg.

Sift the flour, baking powder and cocoa together. Pour into the baking pan. Sprinkle the
almonds on top.

Close the lid, press the menu button and select program 10 – CAKE. Press the button to select
LIGHT crust. Press the power switch to start the machine.

Stir the soft mixture for the filling to a cream. Add the icing sugar and chocolate, little by
little. Mix well.
5.
Allow the program to run to the end. Lift up the baking pan with oven gloves and turn the
cake upside down on a grille to cool. Allow the cake to cool completely. If you want to bake
the cake a little more, select program 12 – BAKE and bake it for another 10–12 minutes.
