5.Feature setting and function description
This chapter introduces the channel characteristics of MTC and various functions of MTC in detail.
5.1 Feature settings
The input channel characteristic of MTC is the linear relationship between the channel analog input
temperature A and the channel digital output D, which can be set by the user. Each channel can be
understood as the model shown in Figure 5-1. Because of its linear characteristics, as long as two points
P0 (A0, D0) and P1 (A1, D1) are determined, the characteristics of the channel can be determined.
Among them, D0 represents the channel output digital quantity when the analog input is A0, and D1
represents the channel output digital quantity when the analog input is A1.
Figure 5-1 MTC channel model and feature settings
The purpose of setting the channel characteristics is to adjust the field linearity error of the module, the
difference in the ambient temperature of the module and the use of the compensation cable (connecting
cable) will bring errors to the MTC measurement results, and the user can eliminate it by setting the
channel characteristics error.
The values of A0 and A1 are fixed to the current mode, the analog 0 point and the highest point of the
range of the mode, that is to say, A0 is 0 in Figure 5-2, A1 is the highest point of the temperature value in
the current mode, The user's writing of these two settings is invalid. For example, when using Mode 3
(BFM # 600
~
BFM # 603 corresponding channel BFM is set to 3), A0 is 0 and A1 is 12000. The
following uses Mode 3 as an example. If you do not change the D0 and D1 values of each channel and
only set the channel mode (BFM # 600
~
BFM # 603), then the characteristics of each mode are shown
in Figure 5-2.

Note
: When the mode is set to 4, 5, 9, 10 ..., when the output is in degrees Fahrenheit (0.1 ° F), the
corresponding unit in the output data area will read the temperature value in units of 0.1 ° F, and the
channel The data in the characteristic setting area is also in units of Fahrenheit (0.1 ° F), which is
different from the MC200-8TC, MC200-4PT and other modules. Pay attention to this when changing the
