How to Edit the Cable List
NOTE:
Editing cable lists requires basic knowledge of the Extensible Markup
Language (XML) standards. By altering the structure of the XML file
during edit, the cable list would be rendered unreadable and useless.
Proceed as follows to adapt the list to your needs:
Step Action
1
Export the standard cable list to a USB flash drive (see page 19).

Open the XML document using a text editor with XML syntax highlighting
(e.g. +).

You can now add new cable types by adding new <cable> elements to the file (see
previous page). You may also change or remove existing <cable> elements.

Save the new cable list in the
CableLists
folder of the USB drive.

Import the new cable list into the unit. See page 19.

Set the new cable list as default cable list. See page 19.
