How to Perform a Test

Step Description

Result:

The capacitor is charged up and a discharge takes place after 5 seconds

injecting a pulsed voltage signal into the cable.

This process is then repeated until the process is manually stopped.

If required, you can adjust the pulse voltage by selecting the

menu item.

Pinpoint the sheath fault with an earth fault locator like the Megger ESG-NT.

For detailed instructions, please refer to the user manual of the earth fault locator.
