Key Mapping
MI Path
Config->Port->Default->More->Key Mapping
Note: These “Default” Key Mapping settings will set all ports identically.
1.
911 Analog Key: Used to access single analog port.
2.
Local Dialing Key: Used to access the local dialing trunk.
3.
Line Appearance Keys: Identifies which keys on the extended phone will be the PBX line keys of the
extended PBX port.
4.
Speaker Key: Identifies the Hands free mode of the extended PBX port. When enabled, the phone will
provide 'Hands free' capability when using the 911 Analog Key and Local Dialing Key in disconnected
state. Refer to PBX/Phone User Menu for hands free operations.
5.
Auto Offhook: Identifies the dialing mode of the extended PBX port.
Default Local Dialing Setup

Config-> Port->Default->Local Dialing
Note: These “Default” Local Dialing settings will set all ports identically.

Trunk Access Code: Identifies the PBX trunk access code which will route outbound calls via the 7000
system.
2.
Local Access Code: Identifies the box number of the 7000; Required when there are 2 remote 7000
units connect to a single Gateway.
3.
Restriction Prefix: Used to set restricted access numbers.
4.
Collector Timeout: 5 (seconds). Timeout period for the extender to accept user dial string.
5.
Local Dialing Key: Enable/disable a phone user to access local dialing via Local Dialing Trunk directly
(by-passing the PBX key).
6.
Ring Timeout: 30 - Identifies the ring timeout of an inbound call on the Local Dialing Key
7.
Ring: Enable/disable the phone, will ring or not for inbound calls on the Local Dialing Key.

Trunk Access Code: Code used to dial out from the EXT 7000. (Default Port Only)

PBX Extension: The 4-digit extension that corresponds to this port.

12. Ring Timeout: Timeout (seconds) for local dialing ring. (Default Port Only)
