Using McAfee VirusScan

Reporting to the World Virus Map
To automatically report virus information to the World Virus Map:

Right-click the McAfee icon, point to
VirusScan
, then click
Options
.
The
VirusScan Options
dialog box opens.

Click the
Virus Map Reporting
tab ( Figure 2-14 ).

Accept the default
Yes, I want to participate
to anonymously send your virus
information to McAfee for inclusion in its World Virus Map of worldwide
detection rates. Otherwise, select
No, I don’t want to participate
to avoid sending
your information.

If you are in the United States, select the state and enter the zip code where
your computer is located. Otherwise, VirusScan automatically tries to select
the country where your computer is located.

Click
OK
.
