Telephone operation
Answering calls
On the remote control, press
key

.
Phone conversation is active when
the call is accepted. The call is con-
ducted via hands-free feature. Sound
volume is adjustable (
page 213).

scribed under "Active call"

page 288).
Ending or refusing a call
On the remote control, press
key

.
The desired phone number has to be en-
tered when placing an outgoing call.
The following options are available:
Direct entry of a phone number
(
page 285),
initiating redial ( page 285),
selecting an entry in the accepted
and missed calls list (
page 286),
selecting an entry in the dialed calls
list (
page 287),
using speed dial ( page 288), or
opening of the phone book and se-
lecting an entry (
page 290).
Entering a phone number
Call up the Telephone main menu
(
page 283).
Open the keypad cover on the re-
mote control, and enter the desired
telephone number by pressing the
corresponding keys


Deleting the last or more digits:
Select item
Delete
using the selec-
tion wheel on the remote control
and press the selection wheel to
confirm.
After entering the phone number,
press key

on the remote con-
trol.
The telephone dials the entered num-
ber. The call is activated the moment
the other party answers the call. The
volume can be adjusted (
page 35).

Initiating redial
On the remote control, press
key

twice.
The telephone establishes the con-
nection with the number dialed last.
The telephone initiates the call. The call
is activated the moment the other party
answers the call. Communication is con-
ducted via the hands-free system. The
volume can be adjusted (
page 35).
