GENERAL SAFETY
Warnings !
Read all safety warnings and all ins tructions. Failure t o f ollo w the warnings and ins tructions may result in

The term “p o wer t ool” in the warnings refers t o y ou r ma ins-ope rated (c o rded) p o wer t ool o r ba tt ery-
ope rated (c o rdless) p o wer t ool.
1)Work area safety
a) Keep work area clean and well lit.

b) Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids,
gases or dust. P o wer t ools c reate spar k s which may ignite the dus t or fumes.
c) Keep children and bystanders away while opera ting a power tool. Distr actions can cause y ou t o los e
c o ntr ol.
2) Electrical safety
a) Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter
plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools. Unmodified plugs and matching ou tlets will reduce risk o f
electric shock.
b) Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces, such as pipes, radiators, ranges and
refrigerators. There is an incr eased risk of electric shock if y our body is earthed or g r ounded.
c) Do not expose power tools to rain or wet c onditions. Water entering a p o wer t ool will increase the risk
of electric shock.
d) Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the power tool. Keep
cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges and moving parts.
Damaged or entangled c o rds increase the risk of
electric shock.
e) When opera ting a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use and so marked.
Use of a c o rd suitable f or ou t door use r educes the risk of electric shock.
f) If opera ting a p ower tool in a damp loca tion is un avoidable, use a residual current device (RCD)
protected supply.
Use of an RCD r educes the risk of electric shock.
g) Inspect t ool c o r ds periodi cally and replace if damaged b y a authori zed service facility .
h) Inspect ext ension c o r ds periodi cally and replace if damag e.
3) Personal safety
a) Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when opera ting a power tool. Do not use
a power tool while you are ti red or under the in flu ence of drugs, alcohol or medica tion . A m o ment o f
ina tt en tion while ope ra ting po wer t ools m ay r esult in serious pe r sonal inju ry .
b) Use always prot ecti ve equipment. Always wear eye prot ection, dust mask, hearing protectors and
safety shoes. By service on machine or raw materials use gloves. Keep y our hair back. Reduce changes on
per sonal inju ry ..
c) Prevent uninten tional st arting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position bef o re c onnecting t o p o wer sou rce
and/ or ba tt ery pack, picking up or carrying the t ool or servicing and maintaining the t ool. Carrying p o wer
t ools with y our fin g er on the swit ch or ene rgizing p o wer t ools th at have the swit ch on i nvites acciden ts.
d) Remove any adjus ting key or wrench before turning the power tool on. A wrench or a k ey le ft a tt ached
t o a r o ta ting part of the po wer t ool m ay result in per sonal inju ry .
e) Do not overreach. Keep proper f ootin g and balance at all times . This enables be tt er c o ntr ol o f the
p o wer t ool in un expected situa tions.
f) Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from
