ADVANCED USER GUIDE
Step 1: Start with the first four MLA Mini cabinets face down on their flightcase base. The
cabinets should be locked together with Flying Pins at the front and rear, with the rear pins in
the “0.5” position so that the four cabinets form a “flat” array. Attach the Flying Frame to the top
cabinet, noting that the cabinet’s top lugs mate with slots in the base of the Flying Frame. Use
two Flying Pins to secure the front corners. Note that there are two available mounting positions
on the frame; ensure that the correct ones are used (according to the Display 2.2 Rigging data).
With smaller arrays, the front of the top cabinet should be approximately flush with the front (at
the bottom at this stage) of the Flying Frame. The second position would commonly be used with
larger arrays requiring a significant up-tilt.
Step 2:
Unlatch the rear dropdown bracket from the centre of the Flying Frame. Note that there
are two of these; in this rigging option, use the lower one (that nearer the front of the array). This
will mate with the upper section of the rear bracket of the first Mini. Secure with a Flying Pin.
