CARE OF THE TRAMPOLINE
Anchor the trampoline or dismantle it and store in a safe place during strong wind or
rain. When anchored, both the upper and lower parts of the trampoline must be secu-
red. Anchoring may not necessarily be effective in case of strong wind or sudden gusts
of wind. If strong wind is expected, removing of the safety net and additionally securing
the trampoline (e.g. by placing concrete blocks on legs, etc.) is highly recommended.
Repairs should only be carried out by qualified persons and with the use of original
spare parts.
Unprofessional repairs of the trampoline may reduce its service life. Store the tram-
poline in a safe and dry place, with stable temperature and limited sunlight during
winter months. When unused for long, dismantle and store the trampoline. The
service life of the frame as well as holes, springs and connections can be increased
with greasing with Vaseline or similar products.
Use wet cloth without any chemicals or other abrasive cleaning agents for Vaseline
cleaning. The safety net should be replaced every 2 years.
Basic jumping techniques
Make sure you always land on same place you jumped from. Always jump into the
centre of the trampoline. An incorrect jumping technique may lead to injury, there-
fore study the following chapter carefully.
Straight jump
• start in a standing position with legs
apart at the width of your shoulders
and eyes facing the jumping mat
• swing your arms forward and lift
them upwards
• in an upwards leap, keep your feet
together
• land again with the legs apart at the
width of shoulders
Interrupting jump
• when you lose control, it can be re-
gained by performing an interrupting
jump
• start with a straight jump, but keep
your knees flexed when landing – if
done properly, it will help you to
interrupt jumping easily
