Remote Control sw PC

LPP-480F

Hardware and Software requirement for installing

−

O.S: XP (32-bit) and higher (also 64-bit O.S)

−

RAM: min. 1GB

−

ROM: min. 10MB

−

NET Framework 4.0 (installed before to installing the LPP-480F setup)

−

USB Driver: “STM32_VCP_Driver_V1.3.1.exe”

Preliminary

−

The remote control sw Pc can connect with the device(s) via USB, RS485, TCP/IP so the user
must set the connection mode according with the device's setting.

−

Each device can be connected by up to 4 connection (PC) at the same time. Is not possible to
connect the same device at the same time via RS485 and TCP/IP. Is possible to use at the same
time the USB and TCP/IP or USB and RS485 connection (from different PC).

−

When two remote control sw PC are connected to the same device then each modification done
by one sw PC GUI, shall be reported also on the other one sw PC GUI automatically

−

Each device have inside installed an “Announce” function in order to inform the sw PC when it
is
connected via TCP/IP. So at the first start-up of the sw PC connected via TCP/IP with the
device, the firewall of the O.S try to block the program (see the picture below)

Click the button “Unblock” if the User want that the sw Pc recognize automatically all devices
connected via LAN.

the default IP address of the device is 192.168.0.100, so if the User want to connect it with the
sw PC via LAN is recommended to configure the PC with a static address on the range
192.168.0.x

The parameters used on the device are divided in two group, system and program parameter.

System Parameter:

Device Name, Input Source Type, Auto switch source enable, Input/Output Link,
Input/Output Keep linked channels level offset, Noise Generator Enable/Type/Level, ADC
Headroom, Mode.
Admin/User Password, Admin Lock Mode, Lock GUI with and without password, Program
recall option.
This parameters are used to configure the device and not will be change when the User change a
