If the FIR filter loaded is external and the User change type from “Ext” to another type then the
External filter will be overwrite with the new internal FIR, to reload the preview Ext FIR the User
must reload it (see the appendix “Import FIR Filter”)
If the FIR Filter type are HP, LP, BP (the filter will be loaded on the device in real-time if it is
connected) then the user must also set other parameter

nTaps: number of the taps of the Filter (min 256, max 512, step 32 taps)

Frequency: only low-cut freq if HP is selcted, only high-cut freq if LP is selected and low/high-
cut freq if BP is selcted (20Hz to 20kHz step 1Hz)

Attenuation: is the value that the user must set to have an attenuation of the signal out the Band
selected (the attenuation is dependent of the Window Type, max range -21dB to -120dB)

Window Type: there are different type of window to calculate the FIR
(Rect, Kaise, Sinc, Hanning, Hamming, Blackman, Blackman-Harris, Blackman-Nuttal, Nuttal,
Kaiser-Bessel, Sine.
TOOL-BAR buttons
LOAD PROGRAM:
To Load a program from PC, the user must press the button .
the system show the standard window to open a file, select a file “.Fhe” and open it.
The file .Fhe are program saved with the “Save Program”, inside the file there are all program
parameter modified with this GUI.
SAVE PROGRAM:
To Save a program to PC, the user must press the button .
the system show the standard window to save a file, input the wanted name of the file “.Fhe”
and save it.
The file .Fhe saved have inside all program parameter modified with this GUI. The User can
recall this file using the “Load Program”
STORE PROGRAM:
after press the button the system open the following window to store a program to device.
The device can memorize up to 30 program.
