onnection

A transformer converts the power supplied by the DES into a 24 V DC current, in order to energize the
electromagnetic clutch. The connecting cable between the DES Power Supply and the transformer
is already connected to the transformer terminals 1 (brown lead) and 2 (blue lead). The yellow/green
lead is to be connected to the GND. Refer to the corresponding section of the DES Power Supply
User's Manual for more information.

Connect the electrical cable to terminal 3 (brown lead) and 4 (blue lead) of the transformer to link
the electromagnetic clutch to the transformer. The polarity is unimportant as the clutch can run either
with +24 V DC or -24 V DC.
