NOTE:
With the header attached to a combine, wings locked and
straight, lynch pin (A) should point to the center of
indicator (B). If not, calibrate the indicator by loosening
bolts (C) that fasten to the shield and adjust the indicators
position. While harvesting with the wings unlocked, the
indicator should periodically move through the range. If the
indicator remains stuck at either end of the range, refer to
Checking and Adjusting Header Float, page 129
and
Checking and Adjusting Wing Balance, page 148
