MX1 I-Safe Reference Guide

Suspend

This parameter establishes how long the MX1-IS senses inactivity on the system before entering
Suspend Mode. This option is used to conserve battery life.

Pressing the Power key once also places the MX1-IS in Suspend Mode. Once in the Suspend
state, the Status LED blinks green.

Use the Power key to wake the MX1-IS from suspend mode or a touch on an installed touch
screen.

The Suspend Timer is reset every time one of the following occurs:

Video write

Keypress

Disk / IFA Access

COM 1 (or COM 2) access

PCMCIA Slot 0 IRQ and Controller IRQ

Note:

Disabling the Suspend timer does not disable the Off Timer.

Values:

0 - 63 minutes (in 1 minute increments)

Default: 5

Min

A value of 0 means “Disabled”.
