The Eco Timer is a mechanical timer and perfect for controlling your vivarium lighting. Please
consider that the smallest time setting is 15 minutes but due to construction limitations there can
be deviations of a couple of minutes. The longer the timer setting the more accurate it will be. If
you require higher precision for you application, we recommend to use the digital PRO Timer.
Operating conditions
• The device may only be operated at 230V / 50Hz AC Voltage.
• The device may be operated in any position, but it has to be ensured that it is impossible for it to fall
into water.
• The ambient temperature limit during operation may not fall below and exceed 0°C and 60°C respectively.
• The device is designed for use in dry and clean rooms.
• At formation of condensed water a period of acclimatisation of up to 2h has to be ensured.
• Protect the device from moisture, spray water and impact of heat!
• While running mode there isn’t allowed any force to the mechanical wheel.
Installation und Anwendung:
• Set the time by turning the dial clockwise so that the arrow points to the correct time.
• Push down the segments around the dial as desired two switch on the attached device in this time frame when
the timer is activated. One segment is about 15 minutes.
• Slide the switch to to activate the timer. “I” will keep the attached device constantly under power.
• Plug the timer into a suitable wall socket.
• Plug the device you wish to control into the socket of the timer.
Operating with Metal Halide and Halogen Lamps
This timer is able to switch Metal Halide Lamps and Halogen Lamps. But under special circumstances the lamps
can damage the Timer. It is dependent on to the lamp’s electrical size and type of lamp. But also the Mains
oscillation does play a big role while switching on or off the lamps. Due to the circuit design all current timer
models are affected.
Warranty
The warranty expires in case of modification and repair attempts as well as damaging by force or inappropriate
usage.
Neither a guarantee nor any liabilities for detriments or consequential damages in relation with this product
will be assumed.
In case of warranty claims or repairs please contact your specialist dealer.
Disposal
Electrical products and gas discharge lamps may not be disposed with household waste. Dispose the product in
accordance with the statutory provision e.g. at municipal collecting points.
