7.4 Simulated
Input
The facility exists within the HPT63 to simulate the input sensor levels to test the set
point and current output operation. This function allows the user to cycle up and
down through the sensor range using the
and
keys keys and display the
current output level, with the relays responding accordingly.
To select the
Simulate
menu item from the
Parameters
menu, press the
key.
The unit will now display the simulation menu. Pressing the
and
keys will
cycle the displayed value between its minimum and maximum levels in steps of 1% .
In Redox mode, the steps are 1% of -2000mV to +2000mV i.e. 40mV. In pH mode,
the steps are in 0.20pH. The relays and current output will respond as if the
displayed value were an actual input, thus allowing the user to debug the set point
and current output configurations.
