Mount attached brake hose with new seal rings.
Mind the mounting instructions that are
delivered with the brake hose.
The routing of lines is similar to the original lines. Therefore both
guiding rubbers need to be removed from old lines by a cut. Fit those rubbers on the new lines
and bond the cuts with suitable glue. Mount Fitting on master cylinder and tube clamp as shown
underneath. Don’t bleed the brake system before all adjusting off controls and clip-ons is done.
Now you should check the clearance to the tank and faring, therefore you have to mount all
controls provisorily on the clip-ons.
Fix throttle unit in a way that the cables leave the housing
downward. Brake cylinder, right switch unit and clutch lever holder need to be mounted
with gaps as shown.
ca. 10mm
ca. 5mm
ca. 7mm
Assure (without brake pressure) that the brake lever can be pulled up to the grip and
does
n’t contact any other parts before
Adjust clip on by turning the Match clamps on the slider tubes and then tighten the clamping bolts
finally.
Assure that the upper clamp is flush mounted on the top yoke!
Now adjust the
controls, then bore the holes for the anti-twist devices and fix them finally.
Do not use any grease / oil at the the bolts!
Make sure that no cable, hose or harness is bended and stays tension-free over the whole
steering angle.
The conversion kit is now completely mounted. Always check local laws and your manufacturer’s
warranty conditions for using aftermarket parts on your bike!
Ride safe and have fun!
