Appendix D

Remove top drag-free cover from cart and pull out of the way (do
not detach or damage wires connected to it).

Note orientation of top part of test mass to V-plate.

Remove top part of test mass from posts which pass through V-
plate.

Lower bottom part of test mass through V-plate.

Remove old V-plate and replace with new one.

Reverse procedure to reassemble.
