Everyday Use
Sound menu functions for Loewe TV sets
with RJ-12/RS-232C System Interface
If the Sound Projector is being operated in connection with a Loewe TV set with an
RS-232C system interface (page 13), some special menus will appear on the TV set.
Call up the TV menu .
Select sound .
Switch to the menu line below it.
Select desired option.
Sound mode
See page 24.
Subwoofer
Here you can set individual parameters for a Loewe Individual Sound System
(Subwoofer) connected to the
Sound Projector via Loewe Audio Link (page 13).
Connected yes / no
Cross over frequency 80 / 100 / 120 Hz
LFE LEVEL -20 dB ... 0 dB.
Distance to the listening position
5/7 channels
Here you can set the Room Parameters for setting up the system in your environ-
ment.
Select 5 channels 5.1 playback
Select 7 channels 7.1 playback
Select DD/DTS dynamics range
Here you can set parameters for the required dynamics range of the Sound Projector.

Sound via
Here you can select whether you want to play back the sound through the loud-
speaker or using the
Sound Projector . To do so, in the menu Sound components
- Sound playback via ... choose the setting Sound Projector or TV speaker
(switchable) (page 19).

You can make basic changes in the Sound menu on the Sound Projector .
Select AV programme slot of the TV-set to which the Sound
Projector is connected. Confirm OK .
Set the remote control for Sound Projector operation. The
Sound Projector switches on automatically.
Press the MENU briefly. The menu Settings appears.
Select the option Sound . Confirm OK .

Select desired option.
Tone control You can set the proportion of Highs and Lows
Subwoofer Set You can set the parameters for a Subwoofer
connected to the
Sound Projector , such as Bass
output , cross over frequency , LFE level and
distance to the listening position.
Audio delay You can set the delay time between sound and
picture to obtain lip-synced playback
DRC: Dynamic Here, you can select the parameters for the desired
Range Control Setting the dynamics range of the Sound Projector
Bass Extension You can set the parameters for the bass mode here
Music Enhancer Serves for switching the Enhancer on or off for
compressed audio signals
AUX1/2
Channel level Serves for setting the loudness of the individual
channels.
Confirm OK .
