Warnings
Do not operate UV lamp without mounted filter glass.
Never operate system while lamp housing is open!
High voltage is generated at the ignition capacitor inside the lamp housing!
No modifications are permitted with the UVALOC System.
The unit may be repaired only by an authorized Loctite service representative
Only skilled persons should handle changing the UV bulb.
Do not touch the glass bulb of the UV lamp. Because of burned-in fingerprints the
life-time of the bulb will be reduced considerably.
Removing, bypassing or putting out of operation of the safety devices can result
in radiation damage to persons and damage to the unit and is therefore prohibited!
Damage to the power cord or the housing can result in contact with live
electrical parts.
Check the power cord, the lamphouse cord and the unit before each use.
If the power cord, the lamphouse cord or the unit is damaged, do not operate!
Replace a damaged power cord with a new one.
Disconnect power supply before opening the housing!
Do not touch the surface of the lamphouse or the silicone rubber mat at the work
area. Both get hot during operation (ca. 60°C / 140°F).
To avoid injury, do not touch the glass filter. This item can reach 280°C (536°F)
during operation. Allow to cool fully.
The UVALOC System generates intensive UV radiation that, with direct exposure,
can damage skin and eyes irreversible in a short time and over a longer period.
Avoid direct radiation of the skin and eyes under all circumstances!
Wear UV protective glasses and protective gloves in all cases!
Suitable measures are to be taken in order to protect persons in the vicinity of the
lamp against emerging UV-lights.
