4 Installation
4.1 Environmental and Operating Conditions
– The equipment should be installed in a dry, dust-free place.
– Be sure to install the equipment in a place permitting free access of cooling air to the
back of the lamphouse.
4.2 Changing UV Bulb – Installation at Initial Start-up
Disconnect power supply before mounting the bulb!
Do not touch the glass bulb of the UV lamp. Because of burned-in fingerprints the
life-time of the bulb will be reduced considerably.
•
Wait until the UVALOC is cooled off.
•
Remove the filter glass fixing screw 11
and the filter glass 12 .
•
Push the bulb 13 till stop.
•
Carefully tip and remove it.
•
Check bulb 13 , filter glass 12 and
reflector 14 for contamination
(fingerprints, condensation of adhesive’s
vapor etc).
•
If necessary, clean carefully with alcohol
and a lint-free cloth.
•
Install in reverse order.
