6 Protective Devices
The UVALOC System generates intensive UV radiation that, with direct exposure,
can damage skin and eyes in a short time.
Avoid direct radiation of the skin and eyes under all circumstances!
Wear UV protective glasses and protective gloves in all cases!
6.2 UV Protection Curtain
To protect people, who work at the UVALOC 400, against UV radiation, the supplied
UV protection curtain has to be mounted. This does not relieve of the obligation to use
UV protective glasses and protective gloves.
•
Wipe off the talcum powder of the above
section of both curtains (section where
the holes are).
•
Position the two curtain parts one above
the other that the right of the two holes
is free in each case.
•
Compress the curtains.
So they are to be mounted more easily.
•
Remove the four lower screws from the housing of the lamphouse.
•
Take both parts of the curtain.
•
Start putting around the curtain parts at
the left rear corner (Start) of the
lamphouse.
•
Mount the screw to each hole through
the curtain. Turn the screws only to
approx. 2 mm.
•
Go further till the last free hole of the
curtain lies congruently one above the
first one.
•
Fix the end of the curtain with the first
screw.
