7.4. Initiating the cutting sequence (main cut)
Sequence

Put the floor saw in position.

Fold the steering rod down.
 Move the joystick to the neutral position

Set the engine speed rotary knob to the lowest possible position.

Start the engine using the ignition key.

Switch on water supply using button 2 on the joystick.
 Activate suction unit (automatic) or manually via pre-select page 1 or button 3 on joystick

Switch on saw blade drive using button 4 on the joystick.

Set combustion engine to full throttle
 Adjust saw blade speed according to table below

Using the thumbwheel A on the joystick, lower the blade guard until the saw blade makes contact
with the surface

Set the cutting depth display to "zero".
 Using the
thumbwheel B
on the joystick, lower the saw blade to the desired depth

Initiate feed movement using the joystick and, if necessary, adjust the feed rate.
