Note: If several level transmitters are installed on the same vessel, average_level,
min_level, and max_level tags are calculated for all level transmitters (their beams)
installed on this vessel.
9.5.
Remote connection of SCADA system.
To enable connection to SCADA volume measurement system installed on a remote
computer, first install Limaco OPC Server software on this computer. Configure it
as a remote server.
To do this, make changes manually to limacopc.cfg file generated during the instal-
lation.
Replace MODBUS=YES line with MODBUS=NO line.
Next, set the direction of WCF exchange towards the server located on the host
computer:
Enter «WCF=CLIENT»
in «WCF=» line.
Then enter the line «URI=http://192.168.1.10:8000/service»
indicating the IP address or the name of computer with the host OPC-server in-
stalled and the number of port for exchange.
