9. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INITIAL MASTER SOFTWARE SE-
TUP
9.1. Configuring the Limaco OPC server software.
9.1.1. Set the COM-port number corresponding to the interface converter to which
RS-485 line is connected. Menu "Change COM-port".
9.1.2.
Add level transmitters.
Menu View\Config.
Assign different OPC-names to the level transmitters, for example:
“Vol1”, ”Vol2”. Enter the sensor number as per Modbus protocol in Code field. Se-
lect "Five beam level transmitter" for the 3D level transmitter in Sensor field. Select
"One beam level transmitter used in 3D system" for a single-beam sensor used in
the volume measurement system. Then click “Enter” on the screen. Then repeat this
procedure for the remaining sensors.
9.1.3. Restart Limaco OPC sever and check for connection with sensors.
9.1.4. Open limacopc.cfg file using any text editor.
Check the following lines:
WCF=SERVER
MODBUS=YES
If these lines differ, align their contents with the above lines.
9.1.5. If you need to transfer data to remote computers connected over the network
in the future, select the port for remote connection on this computer and make sure
that it is open.
9.2. Multi Beam Radar Surface Plotter.
9.2.1. Before starting the configuration of this software, make sure that Limaco
OPC server is correctly configured and running.
9.2.2. If this software is running on a remote (relative to the server) computer, find
the line <endpoint address=
in WCF MultiBeamRadar.exe.config configuration file
and enter the network IP address of the computer or its network name, indicating
the port that will be used for the connection. Example for a computer named
"Name":

http://name:8000/service ” this line indicates the computer
named "Name", and data is transmitted via port 8000 in the http protocol. Another
example:connecting to a computer with an IP address 192.168.1.10 via port 8005
<endpoint address=”
http://192.168.1.10:8005/service ”.
To connect to the server located on this computer, you need the following line:

http://localhost:8000/service ”.
