F06. ECT, ETCS AND TRAC (2WD

VEHICLES ONLY) FUNCTIONS

Check that the indicator lights come on
when the switches are selected.

a) Electronic Controlled Transmission

(ECT)

D

The “ECT PWR” indicator light will
illuminate when the “PWR” mode
is selected.

D

The “ECT SNOW” indicator light
will illuminate when the “SNOW”
mode is selected.

b) Electronic Throttle Control System

(ETCS)
Turn on the electronic throttle control
system by pushing the “ETCS SNOW”
switch and check that the “ETCS
SNOW” indicator light illuminates.

c) Traction Control System (TRAC)

Turn off the traction control system by
pushing the “TRAC OFF” switch and
check that the “TRAC OFF” indicator
light illuminates.
