If this light is on, make sure the parking brake is fully
released.
The light should go off.

Low Brake Fluid Level Warning

Malfunction in the brake booster system

Seat Belt Reminder
Light and Buzzer

Warns the driver and front passenger to fasten his/her seat
belt.

The driver’s and front passenger’s seat belts reminder
sounds to alert the driver and front passenger that his or her
seat belt is not fastened. The buzzer sounds intermittently for
10 seconds after the vehicle has reached a speed of at least
12 mph. Then, if the seat belt is still unfastened, the buzzer
will sound in a different tone for 20 more seconds.

SRS Warning Light

This light will come on when the engine switch is selected in
the “IG

−

ON” mode. After about 6 seconds, the light will go

off. This means the system is operating properly.

Charging System
Warning Light

This light comes on if the battery is being discharged.

This light comes on when “IG

−

ON” mode is selected, and

goes off when the engine is started.

Malfunction Indicator
Lamp

This light warns that there is a problem somewhere in the
warning light system itself. In addition, the fuel tank is empty
or fuel tank cap is loose, the light comes on.

Master Warning Light

If the master warning light comes on, a message appears on
the Multi

Information Display.

Electric Power Steering
System Warning Light

This light comes on if the power steering control system fails.

Anti

−

lock Brake System

Warning Light

The light comes on when the engine switch is selected in the
“IG

−

ON” mode and go off after 3 seconds.

This means that the system is operating properly. This light
warns that there is problem somewhere in the anti

−

lock

brake system and the brake assist system.

Pre

−

Collision System

Warning Light

The light warns that there is a problem somewhere in the
pre

−

collision system. The light comes on when the engine

switch is selected in the “IG

−

ON” mode. If the system works

properly, the light turns off after a few seconds.

Low Tire Pressure
Warning Light

This light comes on when the engine switch is selected in
“IG

−

ON” mode. If the tire pressure warning system works

properly, and tire pressure is appropriate, the light goes off
after a few second.
