a) Check braking effort. Check for pull or

any abnormal noise.

b) Check the parking brake:

With the engine switch “IG-ON” mode
check that the brake warning light
comes on when the parking brake is
applied (and goes off when it is re-
leased).

Parking brake pedal travel at 300 N
(30.6 kgf, 67.4 lbf):

7 to 9 clicks

Parking brake lever travel at 200 N
(20.4 kgf, 50.0 lbf):
