B30. INSIDE REAR VIEW MIRROR

Check that the inside rear view mirror

operation.

a) Push the engine switch to select the “IG-

ON” mode, and check that the mode

indicator on the inside rear-view

mirror illuminates (“AUTO” mode).

b) Check that the mode changes between

“AUTO” mode (mode indicator on) and

“DAY” mode (mode indicator off) al-

ternately by pushing the “AUTO” switch.

c) Turn the interior light to the “ON” position

and cover the rear view mirror forward

light sensor (located in front side of

mirror). The rear view mirror and both

outside mirrors should darken. When the

interior light is “OFF” and your finger is

removed, the mirrors should be brighten.

SAFETY CONNECT®

Inspect the Safety Connect LED, (located
in the overhead console) for a green activation
status indicator. If green LED is not illuminated,
press the SOS button once, wait for voice prompt,
and press the button again within 5 seconds.
If successful, tones will be heard followed by

voice prompt saying “Activation is complete -

Good bye”. Green light will change from off to
green after call has ended. If the green light does
not illuminate, please refer to TIS for trouble -
shooting procedures.
