This is the photo of the scanner unit.

ADF flatbed assembly and Scanner lid removal

Remove the following:

Right side cover. See

“Right side cover removal” on page 4-25

System board shield. See

“System board shield removal” on page 4-28

Scanner unit. See

“Scanner unit removal” on page 4-30

Unroute the cables through the bottom of the scanner unit.

Note:

Pay attention to the cable routing for reinstallation.

Disconnect the scanner hinges to separate the ADF flatbed assembly and the scanner lid.

•

Flex the right scanner hinges inward.

Note:

The spring easily gets lost.
