Configuration

Configuring the LNL-1340-M2K consists of setting the device address and the power selection jumper.

40.1

Setting the Device Address and Baud Rate

Use the on-board DIP switches to set the device address and communication baud rate on the LNL-1340-
M2K.

•

Switches 1-5 select the device address.

•

Switch 6 and 7 select the communication baud rate.

Note:

Currently, OnGuard only supports a baud rate of 38,4000 bps. Be sure to set both DIP switches
6 and 7 to the ON position.

•

Switch 8 enables encrypted communication.

All other configuration settings are set via the host software.
