3.1
General safety notes
These instruments of protection class 1 are built and in-
spected in accordance with
EN 61010-1 /IEC 61010-1 Safety requirements for
electrical equipment for measurement, control and labora-
tory.
They
also
meet
the
requirements
in
EN
/
IEC
61326-1
Electrical
equipment
for measurement, control and laboratory use – EMC re-
quirements.
The products were also tested in accordance with
EN
62471 / IEC 62471 Photobiological safety of lamps and lamp
systems.

In order to maintain this condition and to ensure safe
operation, the user must follow the instructions and
warnings contained in this operating manual.

The responsible Leica Microsystems CMS GmbH af-
